Dr Alex Down is a fourth generation dentist who has been practicing for 42 years. After graduation, he spent 4 years working in Darwin for Northern Territory Health in a position that included providing dental treatment to a number of indigenous communities and, on occasion, to small towns and cattle stations within N.T.

In 1993, he undertook further study and completed a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry.

For the past 37 years, he has been practicing in Dandenong.

His interests include sport, gardening and photography.
